Amar Varma

Co-founder

Amar has worked extensively in the technology and investment sectors of both Canada and the United States for well over a decade. After serving in various engineering and marketing roles in the Silicon Valley, Amar returned to Canada to focus his expertise as a director for the tech fund management firm, Vengrowth Capital Partners. In 2007 Amar decided to combine his passions for technology and entrepreneurship to co-found Toronto’s Xtreme Labs, a leading developer of web, social media and mobile applications. Amar is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in Electrical Engineering.

Sundeep Madra

Co-founder

As co-founder of Xtreme Labs, a leading developer of web, social media and mobile applications, Sundeep leverages his 10+ years of experience in the technology space. Before joining Xtreme Labs, Sundeep was the Chief Technical Officer at Spongefish Inc. and prior to that he spent six years at Cisco Systems Inc. working on core routing platforms. Sundeep has a Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa.

Farhan Thawar

VP of Engineering

Farhan has over 11 years experience in the technology sector. He is currently the VP Engineering at Xtreme Labs and is also leading the efforts behind the Extreme University. Prior to joining Xtreme Labs, Farhan was the Chief Software Architect at I Love Rewards Inc and previously the Head of Search & MSN Platform for Microsoft Canada. Prior to that Farhan spent 7 years at Celestica Co. and Trilogy Software Inc. coding and running development teams. Farhan has a degree in Computer Science with Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Rotman School of Business.

James Woods

Director of Product Management

James is the Director of Product Management for Xtreme Labs Inc. who create brand defining applications for a wide range of high profile mobile and web properties. Leveraging cutting edge mobile trends and strong recognizable consumer brands, Xtreme Labs is able to deliver the highest value to its customers by focusing on Agile based development and Product Management experiences.

Prior to Xtreme Labs James was VP of Development for DDC Corp., managing the development of Divorce.com and SkiResorts.com.
